Hmm.. interesting, if this really work out imagine that your wife saying this to you, or its you talking to your husband.

wife : I'm not going to bear the pain of delivering the baby, you will do it instead.

This is sounds weired rite? Try Imagine, men do not carry their beer bellies anymore, instead they carry babies in their abdoment. Their abdoment will be like so big that they can't even see their little john while peeing, the urine will be all over the floor then. Also, its know that pregnant ladies tends to be emotialnal due to the imbalanced hormon, will you tollerate a 120pound, 7 feet muscled guy with beard/mustache crying like a baby, saying "there's a new life in me......"

If you think this is okay, and you may say, its good to feel a new life growing in your abdoment, and you experience the feeling of being a mother. You can closely monitor its progress. The little fetus will grow eventualy, day by day, inch by inch, all of this happened in your abdoment. You may gain your "motherhood " and find a soft spot in your heart. You can feel the movement of the fetus, you can tell stories to your baby in ur abdoment... etc etc...

But hell, what should the fetus call you when it is borned. Father? mother? Or mothfar.... hmmm... deep thoughts. And for the guys who get themselves pregnent, will they be offered the same 60days maternity leave. Will they be entitled to be paid a maternity benefit which is an amount equivalent to their wages.

Hmmm.. please, man doesnt play god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (FYI, I haven adapted to any religion) Stop manipulating genetic and try to create some sort of lifeform out of no where!! Stop playing with human body, stop created mixture between animal and people. Freaking scientist!!!!!!!!!!!!!
