一直以来我都对小型车子情有独钟，尤其是mini cooper。从旧版的austine mini cooper到最新由BMW生产的mini cooper, mini cooper convertable(硬顶式开篷的呐!!)，迷你都有它自己的一群fans。好笑的是那些洋人，身材五粗，却也不乏喜欢把自己塞进mini的死忠fans!!
呵呵，mini虽然是小，但是胜在小而巧，五脏俱全，如果你只需要在市区内行驶，那它已经是是胜任有余！！！好想买一辆啊！！！我在lelong.com.my里头看见了有人想卖出这辆1973年的mini cooper,应该是austin mini cooper 1275gt。照片如下！！

不过问题是没钱。。。就算买到了也不知道因该到哪里service，也不知道因该去哪里找便宜的spare part -________-。。。叹气中。

nice car but you oughta have the free time to fix it yourself though.
and you may also need to install a compressor for aircon... (if it doesn't already have one)
Minis are designed for mainly ladies and Asians (Relatively smaller than Europeans etc) , but I saw lots of butch guys driving a mini down london, god I think it’s a problem even for them to get into the car, I just don’t know how they manage to drive in the mini.

I think they have a standard grip, mini is just a compromise of all cars, it's small and compact. My mum's mini is black and sliver (http://customerevangelists.typepad.com/blog/mini.jpg), I think it's quite diferent from the one in ahsang's pic
Freeddi: Da car is fitted with aricon as it claims. Too bad its at terengganu, if not gonna go n have a test drive. Muahahhah!! And also, i dun think it will "flip"over la, coz its center of gravity is far lower than normal cars. Those SUVs are those who have the potential to "flip" over when doin sharp turning. I'm worred that how it gonna cross da numurious BUMPERS and HOlES scatter around whole malaysia with its small 12" rim.

maybe get the cheapest mini, "mini one" for 130k... when i finish paying off my housing loan... in 30 yrs!!!
Wat? how comes my mum didn't even tell me it cost her that much? god why is she spending that much money on a damn mini, she could buy something better with that money *sigh* women sometimes just waste man's money ^_^ (in this case i think my dad must been broke then)
No ashang, it's not 150k to 200k. I asked my mum and she said it's 11 thousand pound now but when she bought it, it was 13 thousand. Where did you get 200k from?

louise: my dear. pund and rm is diffren. da figure i gave is ment to be in malaysia, and FYI malaysia does impose unreasonable high "import" tax, or watever its called previously. And now da import tax is gone and govevernment had make a "quike and swift" action of imposing another 国产税, which in case, non of the car price drops. Bcoz of the tax the imported car doesnt count like 11k pund x 7 = rm77k. Thats what u got when u have proton in malaysia. freddie could have buy a new mini in 15 years time if proton is not here!!

louise, the tax for car in malaysia is based on the type and cc. i think mini has about 150% tax on it.
Opps~ I forgot completely forgot the currency issue, god how could I be this dump? You make me feel stupid ashang :S ^_^
